David,
To build a DMRGateway, you will need:
DMRlink <https://github.com/N4IRS/DMRlink>
AMBEServer <http://nwdigitalradio.com/dv3000-ambeserver>
wiringPi <git://git.drogon.net/wiringPi> (Needed for AMBEServerGPIO)
DMRGateway <https://github.com/N4IRS/DMRGateway> (I will put up the RPi2
executable in a couple of days)
ALLStar Asterisk (of course)
USRP channel driver enabled in asterisk
I said in the past that it does not matter what you install it on. Well,
that is true, but since I've been building on DIAL for the RPi2, I have
relied on the installed programs on DIAL. Everything can be done on just
about any platform, it may take a little more work. Folks, This is a
learning process, and somewhat a steep one at that. Don't try to do
everything at once unless you are very comfortable with each of the
modules above. Take it a little bit at a time. Get AllStar running on
the Pi. Get DMRlink running. Setup the echo server for DMRlink to help
learn the concepts in DMRlink. Get AMBEServer running with the test
scripts. Add DMRGateway. Setup the USRP channel driver. Right now
DMRGateway is receive only. We will add transmit as we move forward.
