Well,
We survived Dayton. ;) More about this in a future post.
We received a lot of good feedback about DMRGateway and DMRGui. Mike and
I are working on a roadmap for future programs. At this point DMRgateway
is pretty solid and we will be publishing the source soon. I'm thinking
it's time to lock down DMRGateway on 2100 as a full time gateway between
ASL and BrandMeister. I don't think it's a good idea to put it in
transceive on a busy TG like 3100. I think our best bet is to put it on
a dedicated TG full time. In looking around there is a TG "assigned" to
AllStar on DCI. It's TG 3167 TS2. DMRGateway is steerable and we may in
the future allow it to be moved around with a timer that puts it back to
3167 after a period of time. Anybody have another idea. Note, to
support a second or third full time TS/TG each gateway requires a DV3000
from NW Digital Radio. (This is NOT a request for additional equipment)
