I have been running Asterisk for some time but switched today to EVB 011 so as to add app-rpt. Asterisk runs fine until I complete the installation by running the latest version of evbphase2. Thereafter, Asterisk immediately exits with code 1. (The USB selection was made to evbphase2.) The most serious warnings are: 1. Error loading module 'format_au.so': /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/format_au.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I confirmed that this module does not exist anywhere on my system. 2. res_musiconhold.c:804 moh_scan_files: Cannot open dir /var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3/ or dir does not exist The directory '/var/lib/asterisk/moh/ exists but not mohmp3. I thought mp3 files and players were deprecated on >= Asterisk 1.4 in favor of .wav 3. chan_usbradio.c:2988 store_config: File usbradio_tune_usb.conf not found, using default parameters 4. chan_usbradio.c:3001 store_config: Unable to assign USB device for channel usb 5. chan_usbradio.c:1034 find_desc: could not find 6. chan_usbradio.c:3309 load_module: Device usb not found Anybody have some pointers on correcting the above? Assistance would be greatly appreciated. 73, Dave VE7MQ. Do a wget from http://xelatec.com/asterisk/evbphase2 and start from scratch per the directions. Let me known if it still gives you problems. 73, Steven Henke, W9SH -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I did another install from scratch using your link to get the bash script evbphase2. I believe this was the same version that I had used initially. However, I received many more Errors, Warnings and Notices than before, including all the ones from my first attempt. I have tried this installation on two computers but with exactly the same results: Everything is fine and Asterisk runs until I execute evbphase2. After it finishes, Asterisk starts but immediately exits with error return 1. A number of the Warnings are really puzzling, such as looking for the sound module 'format_au.so' which clearly does not exist on disk. Is it possible that you had some residual files on your system when you tested evbphase2? I can send you the final lines from /var/log/asterisk/full or the death messages from Asterisk if you would like to see them. Do you see any advantage in trying EVB 010? Looks like I may have to return to compiling everything from source onto Debian :) I would certainly appreciate any further thoughts. 73, David VE7MQ. This is a Radius M10 2m link radio. Question: Once I connect node 2047 to the Repeater node, 2059, I get the echo sound and some time lose control over voice and dtmf signals. Both nodes run off the same computer. 933Mhz 512mb of memory. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Oh and running both by the usb sound fob.
