Eric,
Sure put it in your dialplan and provide ID as regulations require for
your side of the call.
There will be times when putting the conference on the air is
appropriate and times when it is not.
This means the connection should be announced and closely monitored by
a control operator because the participants are not going to ID by
callsign, it will include non-amateur contributors and the chatter
will often run outside of the limits of amateur radio's standards and
practices.
