[App_rpt-users] Node Losing RX Audio

Hi All;

I have noticed the following since adding a remote base (TM-271) to my
system (so the system comprises of a main repeater node (operating
half-duplex into an analog controller) and a second fob connected to the
TM-271)....

Randomly, the audio from my main node (connected to the analog
controller) disappears... i.e., app_rpt does not 'hear' the audio from
the repeater, it *does* see the COS signal, so the result is an
unmodulated carrier out to the connected links.

Interestingly, the audio from the remote base works fine - i.e., if I
hop over to the RB, I can carry on the conversation with folks connected
to the main repeater node.

An rpt reload does not fix this. When I restart the Asterisk service,
then things are fine and again will run for a random period of time
(could be one day, or sometimes 3 or 4 days) until the next hit.

I've tried disconnecting the RB node, so that it is not connected to the
main node at all, and this does not seem to make a difference. This
morning, I have commented out the RB stanza in rpt.conf and its
associated stanza in usbradio.conf - will be interesting to see if this
re-occurs with just the one node connected.

... wonder if anyone else has seen this, and if so, what the fix was / is?

Thanks,

Ramesh.
