[App_rpt-users] Allstar Remote

I'm on my way to the VoIP Conference in Las Vegas hosted by the Neveda
Amateur Radio Repeater Inc. Tomorrow, I'll be demonstrating an
application that I've been working on that allows you to search
through and display Allstar node logs. The application allows you to
select date ranges and filter the logs using built-in criteria such as
>From (or To) Echolink, From (or To) Allstar, From (or To)  IRLP, Node
startups, DTMF entry, etc. Additionally, you can create your own
search filters. You can then click/drag-select ranges of the resulting
formatted/displayed log entries which then generates a playlist. Click
"Play", and the application plays out the associated .WAV files. Press
the "Sync" button and the app will SCP any new files in Archivedir not
previously "synced". I can provide binaries for the application for
Windows, Linux, and (if someone really wants it and I can round up a
test machine) Mac.

I have a little more work to do on improvements to the log filtering
mechanism, more testing to do on the Linux implementation, and
potential changes/enhancements that come out of suggestions from those
who see the demo in Las Vegas.

Of course, there are many ways to skin this cat..Python scripts,
Perl..various Web cgi's but if you're interested, I'll update the list
when I'm ready to do a "beta" distribution. Of course, it'll be free
for anyone who wants it..just my little way to contribute the the
awesome work done by Steve, Jim, and others over the years.
