Hi Keith,

Responded to your email lastnight but never saw it hit the list so retrying in case you didn't get an answer.

You decide where the log files and QSO recordings go by setting it with the "archivedir" keyword in rpt.conf. By default, "archivedir" is commented out so no logging or recording is done until you uncomment it and set it to the path you want. 

The transmissions are recorded using the GSM 6.1 encoder which does a great job of retaining audio quality but only uses a 13kbps data rate.
