Hi Darril,

In Linux/Unix systems, the PID is the process-id. It's assigned dynamically by the OS when the process starts and has nothing to do with your node number.

Also, none of the files you reference below are executeables. The first two are device nodes (again nothing to do with your Allstar node) and the other is a configuration file. Not sure why you're trying to run them.

Perhaps if you explain what you are trying to achieve, we can help.
