yeah. what you want is a 'repeater' node. Therefore any decent amateur radio that has access to
decent audio and control inputs/outputs will do nicely.

  Those

trying to accomplish??

Hi,

I am trying to move as a novice my first steps in this world. If I
understood correctly you can setup a "remote base" or a "repeater",
with app_rpt.

Is that right?

I can imagine the repeater functionality, but not so much about the
remote base.

There is any place I can understand better such concepts?

Best regards,

Andrea Fino
