The Limey Linux and Pickle distros have support built in them for the Virgin Mobile modems
(OVMC760, and/or normal U760), but I dont believe the kernel that is running in the
ACID (Centos) distro has support for it.

I believe that Jim put the drivers in for the Virgin Mobile and Sprint USB modem. I would check before you buy...

Most likely you would need to use the proxy for your node. Virgin Mobile via WalMart has a $20 1Gb 30 days only at walmart...

 I see several people running mobile nodes, I am guessing that this is accomplished by using a usb modem or some other cell type access. I am looking to relocate my pc from the room that houses my router. I would like to use a wifi adapter and use a wirless link. I woudl appreciate any information on adding a way to use a wireless usb adapter instead of the LAN cable.
