I can tell you it is blobbed but I could use these for remote receivers using the Xiapr install if it was supported.

I just pulled this out of my desk and reading it from backtrac.

What chip did you end up with?  Can you post the VID:PID please?  Is the chip
packaged (I/O pins accessible), or epoxy blobbed?

Sorry for so many questions, but I have been experimenting with a CM108
compatible chip for a related application.
