John,

I am not sure what you are trying to do, but if you're using the Quad PCI card and already have the TMG-707 and want to use that as
a remote base radio.
Why not just build one of these boards up. If your running app_rpt it is all the interface hardware you will need. You will not
need to buy the NO6B remote base interface.

See the second photo. Its just a few parts.

Subject: [App_rpt-users] Quad Card User IO Question

I'm looking into the possibility of using the NO6B Remote Base Interface with my Quad Card.

The NO6B RBI is designed to accept the Doug Hall generic data stream, control a Kenwood TMG-707 and is primarily used with LinkComm
controllers. The RBI expects standard TTL logic levels (<0.8 V for 0, >2.0 V for 1).

Would this interface be driven properly with UIOA & UIOB on the Quad Card? Is the Doug Hall generic protocol currently supported by
app_rpt?

Thanks for any help in identifying potential challenges and pitfalls.

John / WB5NFC
