Hi Mike:

Odd thing is that since this box is dedicated to Asterisk and Allstar, I had not added any new hardware to cause an irq conflict, etc.

Resetting the BIOS implies connecting a monitor and kbd to the box! - I can barely stand in my shack ;).  The PCI card was a $10 fix that took 2 mins of my time, without the XYL noticing - that makes it priceless!
