[App_rpt-users] Building a simulcast system

I don't know enough about the URI or USB to speak intelligently. Pun
intended :-)

So that I might take advantage of linking I was considering wiring the Arcom
to a repeater not part of the simulcast loop.

I guess that there's no way around an all RoIP system.

If you mean have the Arcom wired to the repeater TX for weather alerts, no.
You are building a simulcast system and you wouldn't want just one of the
transmitters coming on independent of the other transmitters.

You could make the Arcom (wired to the WX RX) a separate node and link it to
your simulcast node. But what's the Arcom bring to the table? Why not just
connect the WX RX to a URI or RTCM?

Is it possible to setup a remote base connected to an Arcom and TX the WX
receiver through?
