That's plenty. I'm running 4 mix client nodes, a two client simulcast node and a four client simulcast node. That's 10 RTCMs on 6 nodes. All on a single Intel Atom D25 (1Gb RAM) with ACID installed on a SSD. It runs 94% idle and 300 Mb free.

No, only one server per PC is recommended. VMs are not recommended, and I might scold you if you try :-). But you can have both private and public nodes on the same server.
