[App_rpt-users] Playing sound files

It seems like I spend quite a bit of time looking for this type of
information, never finding it in one place, except this list :-)

 

Is there a good location to find the set of commands for asterisk/app_rpt
related linux command line and client, their use and, application?

In the asterisk client -  asterisk -rvvv

rpt localplay <node> <filename>

This will play the file through your local node and not elsewhere if the
node is connected.
