Yeah, like that. As I told one other I didn't scratch anything on paper but
user ' a pinch of this and a bit of that', etc
Built it all into the shell of the DB25 connector
Works REAL well.

FOBs- CHEAP)
Hello Andrew,
In case George doesn't have anything written up for parallel port operation:
http://www.qsl.net/k0kn/plri.html
There are several circuits detailed here, from the simplest discrete
transistor type, to a transistor IC type that can support multiple radios.
You can also use an off-the-shelf IRLP board, should you have one laying
around. The DTMF decoder is not supported by Asterisk (Asterisk uses DSP
techniques to decode DTMF), so I dropped the MT8870 from my schematics.
At it's simplest, all you'd really need is one NPN transistor for PTT
(active high from parallel port, active low to activate PTT), and one PNP
transistor for COS (if active high from radio). If your radio uses active
low COS, I'd buffer with two transistors (PNP to NPN), rather than directly
connecting the radio to the PC.
I'd suggest using active low at the parallel port inputs.
73 and good luck.

Hello George,
Do you have it documented anywhere how you configure the parallel port for
COR and PTT? I'd love to see how you have it configured?
Thanks!
