Look at rasberry pi interfaces pins are different but beagle bone black is similar 

Working with one myself to get software loaded.  Have a full Blown pbx on there now asterisk 11 freepbx

that's a good question! but to answer we need more info. like will you be using simple usb or radio usb? 

In plain word, will you be using hardware input to do ctcss and cor signal or will you detect it by using the dsp software?
