Skyler,
Once it boots up login and type the commands
# service asterisk stop
Then read the log file
# tail /var/log/asterisk/messages
Or just type # tail -f /var/log/asterisk/messages
And watch the output.

I know it is probably on the archive a lot of places, but I am experiencing Error 1 sometimes.
It is sometimes right off the bat when I reboot the system, sometimes not. I had it before, and I decided to reinstall from scratch.
Is there anything i can do about this? The only thing I could think that may have led to this is the power cord accidentally coming loose once when the computer was on.
