[App_rpt-users] outstream

OK – it installed!

But when I activate it I just get the message “starting audio stream ….” Over and over again.

Apparently it is starting and dying ….

If I just run it manually, it mentions log into audio9.radioreference.com

[root at test ~]# /usr/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml

/usr/bin/ezstream: /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/bin/ezstream)

ezstream: Connection to http://audio9.radioreference.com:80/####### failed: Login failed

Which is strange since I don’t have radioreference.com in my XML file

Where is this coming from?

Ken

I’ve never installed it but I googled “app_rpt ezstream” and got this (among others) http://ohnosec.org/pipermail/app_rpt-users/2014-August/009932.html

Hope that helps some.

I have to re-install ezstream on my main asterisk node. I vaguely remember there was a script somewhere that facilitated this. I have bravely tried installing ezstream and all its dependencies from sources, but have got stuck with ezstream needing a (different) version of libshout that includes the -devel libraries, or some such Linux-ness. Lots of stuff (hours) on the internet about how to get around this problem … that I cannot comprehend.

Help anyone?

Thanks

Ken
