/etc/localtime is a symbolic link to the timezone and maybe I am reading you wrong do you want zulu time to read out or do you want to read out the time in 24 hour format. That is two different things.
24 hour format or military style time is 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300 etc. No AM/PM That is what I thought you meant.

Subject: [App_rpt-users] Time question
I have both of my systems transmitting my call and the time every hour.Its states it in 12 hour fomat. How can I get it to do it in24hour format ? The clock on the Beagle is set for 24 hour format.
