That is pretty cool. This is giving me an idea. I could use pin4 of the URI to close or open my repeater from a distance.
I can reset my network device by sending a ctcss code to my radio , (using a ctcss decoder) this trigger a small relay and my router/switch/modem are powered down for as long as I hold the ptt, with the exeption of the first 3 second to prevent false trigger. (simple rc time base on the base of the small transitor that trig the relay..
BUT my msf5000 is giving me some problem from time to time. It will unlock in tx and wont receive anything.. Now just a small reset on the controler reset switch will put it back to work, but not always, when that happen, it need a full power down for a few second then it is ok.. the syte can easily be access, but it is a pain to have to go there..
SO. If I can read properly..
I amusing radio usb for that repeater.
I need to do those step:
in usbradio.conf add:
gpio1=out0
in rpt.conf in the fonction stanza I add:
90=cop,62,GPIO1=0 ; Turn off GPIO 191=cop,62,GPIO1=1 ; Turn on GPIO 1
then I will be able to do remotely a shutdown by *90and from the cli of the allstar link computer I will be able to put it back on and off by:
asterisk -rx “rpt fun 1999 *91″to start back the repeater
asterisk -rx “rpt fun 1999 *90″to close it again.
Did I got it right?
(of course if I do that, it wont be 90 or 91 as the fonction trigger. )
and I will make a small script that will do the closing , wait 10 second then open the repeater again..
Thanks for the answer..
Pierre
