You may have a USB pointing problem between asterisk and Linux.

On boot up type "service asterisk stop" at the command prompt

Type lsusb at the command prompt. 

[root at Xxxxxx~]# lsusb
Bus 004 Device 004: ID 0d8c:013c C-Media Electronics, Inc. CM108 Audio Controller
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0d8c:013c C-Media Electronics, Inc. CM108 Audio Controller
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  

Then make sure your tune files ( in /etc/asterisk) properly point to your USB device such as a URI in devstr=  (see below example)

[root at xxxxx asterisk]# cat usbradio_tune_usb<node#>.conf
[usb27178]
; name=usb<node#>
; devicenum=1
devstr=4-2    ; Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0d8c:013c C-Media Electronics, Inc. CM108 Audio Controller
rxmixerset=125
txmixaset=500
txmixbset=500
rxvoiceadj=1.820479
rxctcssadj=0.500000
txctcssadj=0
rxsquelchadj=825

Correct the tune file then

At the command prompt type: service asterisk start
