[App_rpt-users] Ras Pi 2 doesn't like xenon flashes???

I tend to believe something in the power supply circuitry is light sensitive (Xenon flash is pretty bright after all), EMP is unlikely. If you had the time and inclination you could mask off the whole board, flash, and my bet is it would still be running, then selectively un-mask a part at a time until you found the culprit :-)
But, how many times would a bright flash be experienced in a repeater anyway?

Subject: [App_rpt-users] Ras Pi 2 doesn't like xenon flashes???

Hi Everyone,

I just saw this thread in another newsgroup. Basically, they're saying the
Pi2 will hang/crash if subjected to a close xenon camera flash discharge!

Weird! Can anyone confirm if this is true?  ...If they're sensitive to a
flash, they might be sensitive to RF as well. Perhaps an EMP issue?

Here is a link to the thread:
http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=99042

Again, I have NOT personally confirmed this report, but am sitting here
looking puzzled!
