[App_rpt-users] Use of ntpd in ACID

I think the usual recommendation is to use the "pool" - that is what we do.
server 0.centos.pool.ntp.org
server 1.centos.pool.ntp.org
server 2.centos.pool.ntp.org
server 3.centos.pool.ntp.org
This seems to work fine.
The main problem with app_rpt is if somehow you bump the time by a big step,
while fobs are running.
It will crash the fob comms.
ntpupdate will do this, for example

Subject: [App_rpt-users] Use of ntpd in ACID
I'm interested in using ntpd to keep my ACID server sync'd with date and
time, and notice it is off, as configured from the CD. I set "chkconfig ntpd
on, but wonder what servers I should use in ntp.conf. Also, has anyone used
it and had any difficulties?
thanks,
Bob
