[App_rpt-users] Urix & maxtrac are not passing certain DTMF tones back to the node

hello, 
I purchased a maxtrac locally off a friend n1ndn, he had it running on his allstar node via a uri, so I know its good or at least was then 
so I purchased my own uri from DMK & cable off ebay to get it installed & opeating 
however the Urix & maxtrac are not passing certain DTMF tones back to the node 
I can use dtmf tones like *70, *80 & *81 however *3, *1, *2 etc to connect etc & *76 to disconnect dont work 
it seems the only setting I really need(ed) to change was in simpleusb.conf was "carrierfrom=usb" to "carrierfrom=usbinvert" which I did 
I rebooted the system & soon discovered my issue 
any help is greatly appreciated
