From the asterisk cli:
rpt fun 1999 *32000
rpt cmd 1999 ilink 3 2000
From Linux root prompt:
asterisk -rx "rpt fun 1999 *32000"
asterisk -rx "rpt cmd 1999 ilink 3 2000"
assuming:
The node you want to command: 1999
The node you want to connect to: 2000
Your DTMF connect commandf is *3
