I find the Comcast set-top boxes to be more responsive than the FiOS STBs but, as far as Internet access, inbound access to various ports (SSH, IAX, SIP, etc.), uptime, etc., I've had no problems in New Jersey. Only port 25 outbound is blocked as far as I've noticed, which is fairly typical. -- Apu <apu at spfld.com>
