[App_rpt-users] Node tail/hangtime settings

G'day all,

I am looking to minimise the node tail or hangtime after a transmission has
ended. It currently seems to hang on for about a second or more after the
transmission has ended while trying to maintain some telemetry on my node
(mainly connection announcements).

These are some of the settings I have modified in my rpt.conf file to try
and achieve zero or minimal hangtime:
duplex=1
hangtime=0
nounkeyct=1

I have also tried changing wait_times settings but don't seem to be able to
reduce it any more than about a second in this mode.

I think that I am able to achieve almost zero tail by setting the following:
duplex=0
startup_macro=*933

I need to do some further testing, but this seems to work. I am wondering
if there is a better way of doing this.

73,
Leighton
