Steve,

I'm am not clear yet with regard to his process. In an email, he described it as "The exception is the dynamic loaders like DMR/DStar/EchoLink/IRLP would still enhance the system." I'm not sure what kind of Dynamic Loaders they are using. They are planning on providing scripting tools to allow coordinating bodies to keep their data up to date, which could be a good thing. I have a call with him today to discus Ohio data and hope to gain further insight.

Someone on their team may very well have a legitimate AllStar node, but someone would have to login in order to parse the list. It is not available to the public at large. This isn't a big breach of security or violation of private data - just more of an annoyance.
