Yes I do, but I have a phone by the bed and when I wake up I sometimes read
and reply to email. Yes, I'm strange.

Alright (OK),
So where do we draw the line? Every time I refer to the Universal Radio
Adapter asserting the Push To Talk line, or can I just type the URI pulls
the PTT line low.

Every technology has acronyms and abbreviations. Should there be a
glossary, sure. I deal in a industry that is nothing but TLA on top of TLA
(Three Letter Acronyms) which are really Three Letter Abbreviations.
Boy, that was fun typing on a Cellular telephone at 4 AM (4:23 in the
morning)

My feeling too Buddy,

The common use of all the abbreviations and different acronyms really make
it difficult to follow questions or comments on all the different lists.
Not just on this list but others as well. If everyone was into all the same
things and at the same jargon level it might be different.

So is it just me, but every time I see mention of ASL, I have to think

Well,

I'm back after 3 days at the Orlando Hamfest. I had a great time meeting
with quite a few ASL users that found me out in the flea market. ( have no
idea how) I also had a chance to meet with a couple of hardware vendors
about going forward with ASL. More on this later. Thanks to all.

We have found the bug in uridiag that fails a known good URI with the
loopback connector. In short, uridiag was not properly setting the audio
output level. This does not in anyway affect the operation of either USB
channel driver during normal asterisk operation.

As with all ASL software, the source is published on GitHub at <
https://github.com/AllStarLink> in the uridiag repository.

For those that want to fix uridiag on their existing installations:

login as root

cd /usr/src/astsrc-1.4.23-pre/

rm -rf uridiag

git clone https://github.com/AllStarLink/uridiag.git

cd uridiag

make

cp uridiag /usr/local/bin

You can now run the new uridiag. Make sure asterisk is NOT running.

connect the loopback connector

run uridiag
