We can, but when some one decides to violate the GPL what can the community
do?  It simply immoral and shows what sort of individuals they are.

For all we know the "changes" may break 50 other things.  They could be
shoving a bitcoin miner in there to for all anyone knows.  It's a black box
and I'm sure Jim would have some choice words for it.
