[App_rpt-users] Important Allmon2 Update

An update has been released for Allmon2. This update fixes a security
vulnerability. Publicly accessible Allmon2 sites should update right away.


The Allmon2 update is at https://github.com/tsawyer/allmon2. Some files
have been removed in this release. It’s important to delete those files to
secure Allmon2.


Nodes with Git installed Allmon only need do ‘git pull origin master’ to
update and clean up the directory. Others will need to delete everything
except allmon.ini.php, controlpanel.ini.php and any hidden files such as
.htaccess and .htpasswd before reinstalling. Of course a backup should be
made first.


If Allmon2 has not been updated to July 2016 or later there is a small
change to the allmon.ini.php config file. The new default behavior is to
show each stanza unless hidden with nomenu=yes. The menu=yes setting has
been deprecated and will be ignored. Installs with no hidden nodes will not
be impacted by this change.
