Tim,
you accidentally left out some needed info about your setup.
Try again with more details about your node, URI, radio, and how all of
that is connected.
Also, provide the details of what commands you are trying to perform,
such as:
"I'm trying the following commands using a keyboard and monitor
attached to the node computer:
$ cd /etc/asterisk
$ nano rpt.conf
and it's giving me cryptic errors:
$ -bash nano: command not found
$ -> indicates you are in the root prompt.
# -> indicates you are in regular user mode.
