I'm not sure if this works the same in all flavors of ASL, but try a
command using cop=37; disable remote telemetry.
In rpt.conf, I have this entry. Sometimes I hear that "remote
already..." and other annoying things coming from somewhere on a big hub
system. This usually shuts it up.
