Sorry, I forgot that one:
A URI, USB FOB, RA-42 and others are all USB radio interfaces.
Beagle NHRC are host specific Radio interfaces. Just forget NHRC and 
Dingotel

USBradio and simpleUSB are the 2 methods of utilizing those USB 
interfaces. SimpleUSB is just that, simple. It uses GPIO pins on the 
audio device for signaling (COS, CTCSS and PTT) It also connects the RX 
and TX audio from radio. In the case of CTCSS, a CTCSS decoder is 
required to signal the receipt of a CTCSS encoded RF signal.

USBRadio can generate and decode CTCSS without external hardware. It can 
also operate as the COS. In this case only TX audio, RX audio and PTT 
are required to be connected to the radio.
