Perfect, thanks Mike. The auto generated usb conf files also have a decimal
point, another numeral, a colon, and another numeral. Any idea what those
represent, and if they should be present?

It denoteds the bus/hub and port on the bus/hub
Each bus uses one irq line in addressing, so if there is a problem, switch
buses not ports.
There are 2 ports generally, to each bus/hub.
