Guessing from your title

By default, no web ssh access

To use winscp or similar...


Set a root password -

passwd root


edit

nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config

set a port # (uncomment if needed)

uncomment and set  -  PermitRootLogin yes

save /  exit


systemctl restart sshd
