Ok, awesome the access list is permitting you in.

Now, do

$ ls -al /var/lib/asterisk/rpt_extnodes

You should see the following with a current date code.

-rwx------ 1 root root 171069 Jul 19 17:07 /var/lib/asterisk/rpt_extnodes

tail -n 6 /var/lib/asterisk/rpt_extnodes

This will show you the age of the file on your system and where it came from.

If this is not updating check that updatenodes is running on the host, it
should be started at system boot.
