[App_rpt-users] MY personal info stolen?

Don't worry I did read that.

got a little question for you since you posted the tirade... When you say:
"As I have very plainly stated before to the ASL Board members and others,
as long as I have the resources to support ASL they will remain available.
In that I will pledge to my fellow hams that PTTLink will remain
operational and available for use as long as I am able to continue to
provide the time and other resources to keeping it operational."

Since ASL does not need your support (obviously) why continue to put time
and money in that network?

And: "Additionally, you can use the DNS node lookup developed by W9CR (which
was working with allstarlink.org before the ASL Board forked the network):"

Care to explain how they forked the network? What I have seen, like you
said, "Investigation showed that the SOA record for allstarlink.org was
changed to what it is now (Cloudflare) " . That aint forking any network,
that is switching servers. Pointing to a new or many new server never was a
fork. Heck W9CR used at least 3 servers to run the network. If that was so
bad, how come you did not come back to us before with that so bad thing?

I will agree with you, you got a boot in the pants. On that we cannot
disagree. But ask yourself why the board of directors of ASL acted like
that?
You got the finger pointing real fast at others, what about some
introspection. I am not your psy, never been one, will never be one. But
things like that do not happen out of nowhere. Do a step back and look at
the whole situation. Does the ASL network is down? nope, Is there a large
amount of nodes still stuck on the old IP address?nope. Will the ASL
network survive without you? Sure thing! Now you and others, as you stated,
are using a database that does not belong to you or the pttlink.org, it was
never yours, will never be yours. Get a life, act like a grown up and learn
from what happened.

Use the technology, it is open source after all. But the database of user
information is not open source and will never be. BTW, if the information
that I entered into the ASL database ever finds a way to a darknet server,
I will find you personally responsible, NOT ASL, you....
