wait a minute.. I just had a thought that maybe might help here (or not??):<br><br>Perhaps our concept of 'losing the internet connection' needs to be better defined/understood here...<br><br>Do you indeed mean that your cable modem (I am making that assumption based upon your cox.net email address)<br>re-establishes its connection with the ISP network on the cable?? If so, then its likely obtaining a different public<br>IP address when this occurs, and, if so, thats exactly what would be expected.
