And plug nothing else into that hub but the sound dongle.</div><div>(one internal hub is normally two usb ports together)<br></div><div><br></div><div>If that has no results, try to flush your plug-n-play system out. Some MB's BIOS will allow you to force a reset. While you are in there, disable all un-needed built-in items like the built-in sound and or a serial port or printer port and then force your reset. Reboot and try again. </div><div><br></div><div>Not all mainboard chipsets are the same and do not share IRQ's well in the system and third party vendors do not always adhere to PNP specs. After all these years, you would think it would be a viable setup but often the wrong device gets the blame.<br></div><div><br></div><div>I will say that I have many of the exact same USB FOB and one of them always gives me problems until I unplug it and plug it back in. Obviously, I don't use it anymore but it is worth noteing that it can be a problem.</div><div><br></div><div>That should give you a start and hopefully you will find your problem. If you do, please let the rest of us know what it was.<br></div><div><br></div><div>...mike/kb8jnm</div><div><br></div>

If you think your computer does not have enough horsepower to run usbradio then try simpleusb. It works fine. This is a fundamental bug in the software. I have heard this now described in many different ways, but I am certain it is the same problem again and again.
