    I agree with you Corey.  It would be very useful to me as well.  <br>
    <br>
    The more flexible hardware and software is, the more useful it is
    for a wider range of unique circumstances.  <br>
    <br>
    Plus buying extra receiver boards and more URI's just to get some
    DTMF control for a few things I do is a waste of my time and money.<br>

            would still be nice if it was an option.  For example…  Say
            the allstar node was a hub and I had a couple of rf links
            from other repeaters to the hub.  I would want the hub to
            pass the DTMF so the other repeaters could hear it.  I ask
            for it years ago and was told it wouldn’t happen.  It would
            be very nice to be able to have it available as a cop

            anoying, it exposes your control sequence to disclosure

            hamtronics or bash an old mobile to get discriminator out to

            code what you want into scripts and/or commands in rpt.conf.
             set your mobile/ht to same oddball frequency, and pound
            away on the keypad to your heart's content without blowing
            the speakers out of the radios that may be tuned to your
            repeater output and turning folks off to using said mschine.
