look at this site he has a lot of very useful script for allstar.
take a good look at the " astflip " script.<br>
it will do what you need. it will allow you to change to
completely different copy of rpt.conf.<br>

you set a rpt.normal file and a rpt.fipped file then what the
script will do is replace your rpt.conf with<br>
the normal file or the flipped file upon demand via a dtmf
command.<br>
<br>
it use this script to do exactly what you are trying to do twice a
week to feed a repeater system a skywarn net.<br>
<br>
And when i do that the script change the running config of allstar
for the net and turns off all courtesy tones<br>
and other stuff.<br>
