Again today our repeater ( K2ETS ) had a severe popping/clicking noise<br>
about every 1/2 second that was totally disrupting the audio. We are running<br>
two repeaters using Debian on a Raspberry Pi with USBradio. The SD card is<br>
high speed Sandisk Ultra Plus. Even the voice ID was illegible. A restart of<br>
Asterisk did not help this time. I was forced to re-boot the Raspberry Pi,<br>
after which the symptom went away. This seems to occur on a regular basis. I<br>
m curious if anyone else has experienced this, any any hints as to how to<br>
debug.<br>

<br>
Have you looked at /var/log/asterisk/messages for errors and warnings? It sounds like asterisk is unhappy, which can result from hardware issues.<br>

Hi Everyone,<br>

The stats server is running again, as many have noticed. There was a<br>
network outage with the hosting provider, earlier.<br>
<br>
Also, while performing a system check-out, we found that the server is<br>
experiencing some periodic overloading issues, due to the constantly<br>
increasing number of AllStar users....More users is a good thing!!<br>
<br>
We've made some minor changes with the stats server software to maximize<br>
performance and minimize wasted CPU cycles. As such, there are some minor<br>
changes on the main and other web pages. One change is that the global<br>
bubble map, which was at the top of the main stats page, had been taken<br>
down. That image take a lot of compute time to generate and is now so big<br>
that's it's probably not too useful.<br>
<br>
A server upgrade is now scheduled to better meet the increasing future<br>
performance needs.<br>

There's nothing on the page that can steal anything. The donation is<br>
done securely at PayPal - not on any ASL web page.<br>

HOWEVER - the link seems to be broken, and I'm having someone on the<br>
