<div dir="ltr">Hi All,<div><br></div><div>The CM200 / CM300 / PM400 is a radio released in the mid 2000's through 2014-2015, the CPS is not and never was DOS based. The last version of CPS that didn't require a licence key for programming it wideband was R05.16. R05.16 was released in 2012, windows 10 was released in 2015. The current (and last) version of CPS is R05.18 released in July of 2013. </div><div><br></div><div>I'm not sure if R05.16 or R05.18 works on windows 10, works good on windows 7 we use it every day.</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers,</div><div>Jesse</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Sun, Dec 10, 2017 at 1:38 PM, William Higgins <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:higgins.ws@gmail.com" target="_blank">higgins.ws@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Hi Loren!<div><br></div><div>I was recently able to program some of my old Motorola Maxtrac radios from a fairly new and very fast Windows 10 machine using DOSBox. I found the keys to the castle in KK6JYT's online blog post. The first key is to set the cycles in DOSBox to 191. The second thing to do is to use a USB programming cable that has a true FTDI chip in it (at least that's what I used!) It's slow in reading and writing the codeplug but it does work! I've programmed several radios with it now. I would imagine the same setting might work for your CM200 and CM300 radios if their CPS requires DOS.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks to KK6JYT for publishing this info.
