<p>Well, I know that some of you that have problems with dns get
around them by using google dns BUT...</p>
<p>I think you need to take a good look at your network config in
your server and perhaps router. But I think your server will be
your likely target. But it could be both. In short I would say
verify your router first and scub-out your server 'net config'
very well.</p>
<p>If everything is right, it should work right away after a reboot,
at least for outbound connects..<br>

for not getting back sooner but what I did find is that I
could not ping anything except for local ip address’s with
my router as the dns server<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:windowtext">So I changed
it to Google’s quad 8’s and I was able to ping things on the
internet but was still not able to connect to anything.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:windowtext">But today, I
decided just to check because sometimes it takes time for
dns records to populate and low-and-behold, I was able to
connect to nodes now.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

funny is, after the online nodes portal was re-instated, I
was showing in the online nodes list but couldn’t go
anywhere.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:windowtext">Oh well, its
working now.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p>Probably the first check anyway. Try something from a command
