<p>Just a FYI, there are utility programs out there to allow you to
see all the characters (mainly cr/lf)</p>
<p>and some automatically scan the file and remove them.</p>

The problem connecting to iaxrpt is an invisible character in the
iax.conf stanza. It does not show up with programs like notepad++
ect. If you manually retype a stanza it works fine. I had it
isolated to two lines near the top but forget which two and never
got it down to a single line. It was in Dial, HamVOIP, and ASL
1.01.<br>
