<p>First I will say I am not familiar with either device you are
using,</p>
<p>So take all of this with a grain of salt.</p>
<p>I doubt you can take AF OUT and make a COR detect from it without
extra hardware as a VOX circuit etc.<br>
</p>
<p>To me, from your connection diagram, It looks like you need to do
one of a few things.</p>
<p>If you can get a valid PL from the radio and use that for your
COR line. (use hard PL for COR)</p>
<p>OR</p>
<p>Use PL (as detected in apt_rpt) for COR - 'carrierfrom=dsp'</p>

<p>Someone is likely to have a better answer but those are my
thoughts.</p>
<p>Perhaps share a link to the uri makers site for your device for
details on that I could take a better look.</p>

The FR5000/6000 has a DB25 auxiliary connector on the rear.
Here is the sable pin-out I used. Maybe this helps someone else.
