<p>My first thoughts are to download again and start from scratch.</p>
<p>What are you using to image your usb drive ?</p>
<p>You seem to have only the OS installed.</p>
<p>When it did not fully install, i doubt you will have the user
name pass expected since that is most likely preformed in the
asterisk install script?</p>
<p>Could be a boot/grub issue? Review/clean your bios settings.</p>
<p>I would try it all again and see if you get the same result as a
minimum.</p>
<p>I have never installed from usb but a dvd. So just my thoughts.<br>

created a bootable thumbdrive and forced my PC to boot
from that. After the install completes and shuts down, I
remove the thumbdrive and restart the PC. It comes up with
the repeater prompt, but does not continue the
installation of Asterisk. There exists no "asterisk.sh".<br>

guidance on how to proceed.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="+1"><font face="Courier New">BTW, the user
"repeater" has no privileges and unknown password
("allstarlink" does not work).<br>
